Exclamation Caring for a baby Dekay's Brown Snake?

Hello all, I'm new here and I found what I believe to be a baby DeKay's brown snake at work today! He seemed to have slithered through the back door and into the kitchen. My co-worker was going to harm him, so I took him home in a takout box and he is currently residing in a big jar with dirt, grass, worms and moisture. Winter is approaching, so I don't know if I should put him out in the wild or care for him myself? I am thinking of caring for him myself, so I am interested in what I'll need to make sure he's given proper nutrition.

Go on Google and just read care sheets and basics of what they need, get everything set up fast. I'd keep him until winter passes.
