need some help sick egauna

this is my friends mothers lizard and is honestly kept in horrible conditions we just need to know whats up with her leg. yes we are helping her by cleaning her cage and getting her heat and food.

That's horrible. I'm no expert but it looks like the tissue is dying from continuous unsuccessful sheds constricting blood flow. Why has she let it get so bad?

the mother let it get this bad...ok how bout we agree to not ask me about her or i will rant she is a terrible selfish person that not only is killing this lizard but also almost killed her own daughter from lack of caring. but shed was one of the tings i thougt of.

Well good thing you stepped in before it died. How did it get into your care? Did the mother just give it to you since she couldn't take care of it anymore?

Yes as mentioned above I would have it sent to a vet asap. Looks like he's about to lose that leg if not given immediate attention.

If you can't get it to a vet, call Animal Control, if the living conditions are really that bad.

jasmine is sadly not in my care BUT sense the daughter is now on good enough terms to go visit again we are going over there to clean and set up a better heat system and dont egaunas need a higher humidity? but we are trying to get the mom to take her to the vet and we are winning the battle special once i got my assumptions(the women HATES me) backde up by other people

If she refuses to take it to the vet, Call Animal Control.
