Cause for concern?

Yeah it's me worrying again. My Honduran shed the other day and I couldn't find the tail section of his shed. Is this a bad sign? I examined him today and couldn't find anything that looks like a stuck shed. No loose skin or opaque color. I imagine a stuck shed could be very painful and i don't want that kind of stress on my animal.

As suggested by others on the forum I put in a humid hide but he didn't use it. My hygrometer, which I calibrated myself read 63% near the floor of the cage.

If it is stuck will it come off with the next shed? I'm not sure what I should do.

Post a pic.. It's probably not stuck shed, my snakes do this sometimes too, it's not a big deal. Sometimes shed rips or does not come off right.

If you can't see stuck shed on the tail, there is probably no stuck shed on his tail. Its probably lying somewhere in the viv.

I would post a pic but he's so flighty they all come out blurry.

I checked in the substrate when I took him out to be weighed today and didn't find it.

I think I'm just being paranoid again.

Yeah just have a look around, you'll find it.
