Smile temp gun question.

Hey all so unfortuantly my temp gun broke it was old anways, but know i need a new one. Anyone have a link for a reliable gun that is a decent price i found this one HDE ® Temperature Gun Infrared Thermometer w/ Laser Sight:Amazon:Tools & Building Supplies but im scared its garbage because its so cheap! But who knows dont really know what these go for! Anywho thank you in advance!

I have the exact same one. It's very accurate and I've had no problems with it whatsoever. I double checked with with my back up heat gun from zoo med and two different brand thermometer with probes.

I own the unit in the link as provided by infernalis ( the $40 one) it has got a laser sight so you know precisely what you are checking and the reading does not degrade at 6 feet vs 6 inches. Nice if you want to check three places in an enclosure plus the animal without even putting your hand inside.

You get what you pay for....but If you are really tight right now most will do fine.
