Introducing Shogun, our new BRB

This is the most stunning BRB I've ever seen. I don't know where he stands on the scale of desirability but he's the most photogenic snake I've ever taken pics of. He's LOOOOOONG too. I'll measure him once he settles in to his new home. I LOVE how he glows!

Yes, only by cropping and decreasing exposure a bit. Oh, and I watermarked them.

A lot of the brilliance was the lighting. We set up a muslin backdrop, remote flashes with diffused lighting to get every bit out of the photos that we could. I couldn't believe the rainbow that came off of him. He doesn't pop with a camera mounted flash anywhere near this bright. But I've never seen a snake that shimmers like he does under these conditions.
