Snake ID

Hi all,

I found this little guy while doing yard work. I live in the NC Sandhills area and have seen many different snakes on my property, but this one has me and some others stumped! Corn Snake? Copperhead? Pygmy Rattler?

Thanks!

Re: Snake ID

That appears a very pretty Eastern hognose snake. You can barely see the upturned snout. I don't think southern hognose are native that far north.
