I found this Snake on a hike at the Big Pocono State park and was wondering what kind of snake it was? I always love identifying things I find on hikes so thanks again for any help you guys can offer me :-)
Harmless but fantastically cool. They also have a tendancy to musk. I used to catch these all the.time as a.kid. They love to make themselves look like big tough guys by flattening their head ( to make them look like a venemous snake) and puffing up. Some will even "rattle" their tail, though Ive seen corns practice this.more. Common snakes but definitely neat ones. They are known for eating fish and not getting.too big.
