Just as easy as your corn snake. Provide 2 hides and keep the temps right and thats it sometimes they quit eatingin the winter but its no big deal, come spring they will eat again... if you can handle the corn you can definatly handle a BP...

Ball Pythons are not quite a simple to keep as a cornsnake, although they can still be a great novice snake. So long as they are healthy, captive bred (or in many cases captive hatched as well), and proper husbandry is practiced, there is no worries And as Jeff mentioned, it is fairly common for many ball python's to fast during the winter. Good luck convincing your parents, and welcome to ssnakess.com! :bounce:

hi, My first snake was a ball, the only compiication was she did'nt eat for the first 3 monts I had her. Which is normal I would say definatly get one . They are great, easy to handle, rarely bite and a small size. Like everyone said if you can keep a corn easily you should not have a problem with a ball. Post some pice when you get him/her
