My Mice, the non feeder kind

SO i have had my mice for a while now, a few months, and they are still a little timmed ... i handle them a little here and there, but i don't want to push my luck, they are jumpy and dont want to risk one getting loose in the basement.

but my thing is this, how can i go about "training" them.. like what is a good treat i can use to help train them. I mean basically just letting me pick them up, or some stuff like that... not sure if it can even be done

ill get some pics up and this will be a thread dedicated to them

Re: My Mice, the non feeder kind

I use to keep both pet mice and rats that is before I began collecting reptiles lol my rats were very affectionate and would actually come right of the cage to see me. The mice on the other hand never really grew accumulated to me but did learn to tolerate handling, it just takes time for them to trust you and plenty of handling.
