Wanting a beaded lizard

I have owned multiple monitors from savanahs to croc monitors. Are beaded lizards any different or is care and husbandry pretty much the same? Besides the whole them having venom of course.

Re: Wanting a beaded lizard

My fiance recently bought a beaded lizard. Care is pretty simple. They like it warm, so we have ambient temperatures for him in the mid 80s with a hot spot that gets 92 or so. They are shy and will hide if given the opportunity...we found a foam tunnel that presses against the side of the tank and allows him to feel secure while we can still see him. Beaded lizards will eat a variety of foods, including rodents, quail eggs, and insects like roaches. I've found care to be pretty simple; they are messy but very hardy lizards.
