BCI housing on a budget

Curious what kind of setups are out there for the aspiring BCI keeper? A friend of mine in VA is thinking of rescuing one from a dreadful owner but doesn't have a massive budget.

Wondered what you guys might recommend for enclosures/setups that don't break the bank?

You can build amazing things cheep. Look in the local freecycle adds. You can find free building materials.

What about plastic storage bins, the big ones? Can't find anything BIG online. It would need to be like 6 ft wide... any ideas?

check walmart/target/kmart/sears for under the bed storage containers. Mine is over 5 foot, its like a coffin x__X Mines like a 5 something by 3, they are great and you can stack them easy.

Most boas are usually fine in a 4'x2' foot print. That size will accommodate snake up to 8' thought it will be a tight fit depending on girth.

Can't find a plastic storage container long enough to be 4 foot. Looked on lots of websites including rubbermaid, sterilite, lowes, target, walmart, fred meyers, etc. They have 3 footers but no 4 footers +

search for a christmas tree bin. They are fairly massive and should suit your needs I think.
