Lilly - Starting to Take Off Growing

Lilly is now a little over 3 months old (hatched 8/5/12). I've had her for about 2 months now and she's about doubled in length and her tail is starting to put on a little girth - it's also starting to change colors. First picture shows her the day she came home and you can see the tail is white/gray stripes. In the second picture you can see it's starting to turn white/orange stripes. She's also developing some "freckles" under her chin (can't see in the second photo).

She has always been extremely aggressive/defensive - if I went to grab her food bowl she'd come out of her hide hissing and lunging at me to bite. The other day I was able to lift her out to clean her tank without her showing any aggression at all. So, I think she's starting to mellow as she gets more used to her surroundings.

Re: Lilly - Starting to Take Off Growing

I can't believe how fast she's growing. I'm going to try to get some good pictures this weekend. Her tail is now almost entirely a bright orange. I added one of those half logs they sell in pet stores earlier this week and after not coming out of her hide for 2 days after I added it, she's now spending a lot of time crawling on top of the log and hanging out there, kind of surveying her kingdom.

5 months old now. The white/black in her tail is almost all gone.
