I don't, I feel the air myself and if he goes in his water I know I need it to be more humid in there.

Not always true. My cage was at 83% (digital hygrometer) and I caught one of my savs swimming around in circles in the water.

What thermometers/humiditygauges do you recommend? I have the same dial ones and i KNOW theyre not working accuratley

Once I got a temp gun, I quit buying thermometers, except the digital weather Thermometer/Hygrometer combo units.
Then you have a probe you can put in the substrate to monitor the temps there, and use the temp gun to check your basking spot, animal, water bowl and anything else you can think of, just point and click, presto you have the temp.
