That saying is too true. However, this sav is not being housed or cared for properly, so it may be a good thing that this sav is "just for Christmas." this is of course assuming that the sav doesn't move into a situation worse than this one.

Hopefully he is giving him to someone who will take better care of it than he is. I feel so bad for that monitor I dont know ow someone KNOWS they are taking horrible care of their animal and not do a thing about it. It would be different if he was rehoming him because he realized he couldn't care for it and he was NOT trying to get another monitor.

Please be sure to do lots of research and ensure you have proper enclosures set up for them and then everyone will be happy, at the end of the day we all just want healthy animals that are well cared for in proper enclosures
