Lace monitors have finally started mating

I've been in and out of the country a lot lately and I turn off basking lights when I'm away, so my pair of lace monitors have had a really patchy spring in terms of consistent heat and food. As a consequence, their mating season has started really late (almost three months late). I was just about to tell people there wouldn't be any babies next year when this started happening, yesterday:
