Talking Sweet!!!!

i put my male veiled in with my new female veiled just now hoping that they would mate...and they did!!!
the male walked up and bit her a few times and then hopped on her! he stayed on her for a while....not quite a minute and then fell off....but he didnt bother going back, after he fell they werent intersested anymore...were they just out of the mood or was he done? because her colouration didnt change at all.

thanks

Congratulations, but do you not quarantine your animals?

Not exactly what I meant. You mentioned that she was new so I assumed you have aquired her not too long ago. All new animals should be quarantined from your established animals for 3-6 months. Preferably in a separate room, with appropriate cleanliness procedures practiced. They should by no means come in contact with your other animals, or the same equipment/enclosure/etc that your other animals use during that time.
