I was just wondering how many people on here live in an apartment and house a snake? it says in my contract only allowed two pets. combanation of dogs and cats but only allowed to have two and have to be under 25#. people around here have full size labs and shepards so they are breaking the rules.
just wondering how many people have snakes in their apartments? and how many do you house?
I do, I have the exact same rules at my complex, I've got a dozen snakes but I can hide them pretty quickly if I need to. They're in my room and our maintenance guys never have a reason to go in there.
I have 2 snakes, 5 tarantulas, 1 giant millipede, 1 black widow, a colony of roaches and used to also have 3 scorpions, a leopard gecko, "giant" centipede, and a vinegaroon in my apt.
I've lived in 2 different apartment complexes with my snakes. So long as they say that "caged" pets are OK or there is nothing about NOT allowing snakes, I've been able to discuss it with my landlords and keep my snakes. I didn't let the know beforehand, I just crossed that bridge when it arose (maintenance comes and notices, for example).
