Temperature gun got wet
Random brand, little silver thing.
Wondering if it will work after it dries...? anyone have any experience?
What MAY have happened was i thought my hand was safe, and i was checking the temperature in my pyxie frog's cage. He may have snagged it from me, and then spat it in his water bowl.
This is all circumstantial. you have no proof! but yeah...he is over 7 inches long and is quite strong...LOL

Re: Temperature gun got wet
Lmao! I wish you had that on video..
My guess is yes it should work fine once it all dries out. Put it in a bag of rice to help dry it out faster.

Re: Temperature gun got wet
lol did, and thank you for the advice. Hubby got to it before i could tell him what you said, so great minds think alike!
Yeah, i might have yipped a bit. It's been a long time since he's bitten me, and granted it wasn't me, but i would have preferred it in this situation *lol*
"Little" brat could get the whole THING down his mouth, i actually thought for a second i wouldn't know how to get it from him or he'd swallow...then PLOP right in the water dish....doh!
AND i had obviously been confident he wouldn't bite at me, and couldn't. Now i know *lol*

Re: Temperature gun got wet
I dropped mine in my fish tank, and it seems to have had no effect on the readings.
