So I found this GIF while browsing the internet today...all I can say is  and 
I guess this is why you don't see many photos or videos of "snapping-turtle feeding day"...I had no idea...my view of turtles has changed forever...

Definitely interesting, I don't really like the idea of putting an animal through that though. Even if its just a feeder. To each their own i guess.

Yikes! That was interesting, but I don't like the idea of putting a mouse through that...it was still alive with its back end ripped off! Why couldn't they feed it f/t?

I didn't go look at it. I just wanted to thank you for making it a url, instead of an img, because from all these peoples reactions, I can only assume it was a horrible ending for the mouse. I clicked on this thread because it was unread, and as a mouse lover/owner (pet, not feeder) I'm glad I didn't have to see whatever that is. (I can accept feeding f/t to a snake-circle of life-but watching them suffer makes me feel sick to my stomach)
