This is surreal, omg.

I put a deposit down today on my little girl. <3 She's just over 5 months old. I was planning on a hatchling, but I found this guy in NJ who's a great breeder and honestly, the age doesn't matter to me as long as they are young. So, story time and then PICTURES.

I originally e-mailed the breeder about a specific female listed on Kingsnake. She was another purple albino, but not the same one I put a deposit down on. We exchanged a few e-mails, he sent me pictures of mom and dad, and he gave me a few more options. He didn't have all of the young ones listed yet. Dad is a purple tiger albino and mom is a purple albino. When I e-mailed the breeder I told him that I intended on a male, even though I e-mailed him about the female. In his ad he stated that he had more babies not listed, so feel free to e-mail him if you didn't see what you were looking for being advertised.

Then I was given several options. One being a cool little male that I wanted to share with you guys because I just thought it was awesome. He was born a twin, sharing an egg with his sister! There's pictures below. He was born a runt and the breeder had to force feed him and his sister for a few weeks before they would readily accept on their own. Now they are healthy and thriving, albeit still much smaller than their clutch mates. I turned this male down only because I didn't particularly want to get a snake that might not grow to full size and the potential for health problems down the road was a little nerve-wracking. Not that any other baby can't get sick, but that just wasn't what I was looking for. Plus, he is a tiger purple albino and I am really not a fan of them, to be honest. Great for breeding, but I prefer the purple "normal" albinos because of the high contrast and such. They're just gorgeous.

Anyway, the breeder then sent me a picture of the female I ended up putting a deposit on once I told him that I wasn't stuck on getting a male. The breeder called her "Sawblade" because of her unique pattern. I agree that it does look like a sawblade! As of right now she is nameless and I haven't picked her up yet. She will most likely be home within the next week or two.

If anyone would like to take a crack at names, feel free! I'm trying to come up with something that contains the letters J, V, and S.
