what would you pay for high white piebalds???
I have the possibility of getting a male high med-high white for $700 or a female high white for $900.
Both are 2012 hatchlings, and remember, I'm in western Canada!!

I believe that's the going rate for them out that way. The prices tend to be a bit higher out there.
Check Corey Woods website and he may have a better price (with shipping) for you. No problem looking around.
Personally, I wouldn't pay more than $500 for a male of any kind of white and a female $700 to $800.
Just so you know, when bred, you can get ANY variant of white in your pieds. From low to high. It is NOT genetic.

I paid 500 for the low white male, and 750 for the high white female just the other day at a local breeders/friends shop.

What Trent said.
Cut the price down by going in with someone else.
I looked on Corey's site. He only has yearling female pieds for $1500 a piece or pastel het pieds for $750 a piece.
You can always e-mail him or call him and see what else he has.

hmmm, what's corey's site?? can you link it?? If I'm going for het pieds I can get normals het pied pairs for $450 here.
I'd like to have a med-high white, just for the beauty, what babies I end up with eventually would be secondary, as I could play with future generations to get to the high whites. Like you said, you don't know what you'll end up with until you breed them.

Pastel pieds still go for a pretty penny so a pastel het pied is worth the $750 and I believe they are yearlings. It's in his availability.

Ya, there was a gorgeous pastel pied at last years fall show here. Personally, I'd like to eventually try for albino-spider peids. I think they would be stunning!!

I prefer low white pieds, while white snakes are beautiful, they're not for me.
Love the low white male pictured.
