Re: Ivan, the Jungle Carpet Python
sure looks good , mine is about the same size and color but he is a terror and very bitey so he is still in glove training . How bitey is yours?

He's less "bitey" than I expected such a young snake to be; just a few times when getting him out of the enclosure. A couple "nose bumps" with his mouth closed as well. When he's out he mostly seems to either want to explore or get back into his enclosure.
My wife used gloves the first couple of times we had him out, but he's been really calm so she has discarded those. He did bite her once today, but she said she wouldn't have even noticed if she hadn't seen it.

Re: Ivan, the Jungle Carpet Python
AH! He's so cute and tiny! I just wanna squeeze him. Ok maybe that would be a bad idea. But cute just the same! Love the colours.

Chris produces some really good looking snakes and yours looks like its going to be no exception. I really like how nice your enclosure is, looks like you put a lot of thought and planning into it. Keep us posted on Ivan.

Re: Ivan, the Jungle Carpet Python
Such an awesome enclosure. It's gonna be interesting to see how you rearrange it as this little guy grows.

Re: Ivan, the Jungle Carpet Python
Very nice jungle. Both parents are so vibrant so he should colour up well as he grows

Re: Ivan, the Jungle Carpet Python
First shed since he arrived is definitely coming up... he's been pretty dull and had the typical "blue eyes" yesterday. Still took a rat, albeit not quite as enthusiastically.
I'll post a few new pictures once the shed is complete.
