Retic/Burm breeders near you
Feel free to ask here if you want to find a respected breeder in your area and I'll see if I know anybody and if I don't I'll check around.
I forget who asked me about SD and dwarf retics and dwarf burms in Florida, but I asked around and was told you should check with Greg Bryant, Michael Cole, or Glades Herp. Hope this helps.

Re: Retic/Burm breeders near you
Do you know any besides Bob Clark in Oklahoma?
And while I'm asking (lol), you wouldn't just happen to know anyone in Oklahoma that breeds/sells rabbit feeders? My normal supplier doesn't carry rabbit, but I really like them so I'd like to find rabbits for my burms within driving distance if possible....and I buy in bulk.

Bob and then Chris McVicar at New Shed Serpents, and Aaron Bonham, but there's quite a few in Texas, Ben Renick is in Missouri, Harry Wessels is in Arkansas and Mike Chambers in in CO.
I don't know anybody in OK that deals in rabbits.

Re: Retic/Burm breeders near you
Whereabouts in MO is Ben Renick? I have been thinking about adding a retic fairly soon, and both Ben and Travis Kubes are within driving distance.

Re: Retic/Burm breeders near you
Where are you located? I'm about 2 hours from Travis. Ben is east of KCMO, where exactly I'm not sure. I spoke with him at length at the KCKS show a few weeks back and he's a really great guy, check his site out and call him up, I'm sure he'd be willing to chat. Travis has had me up at his place a few times.

Thanks. As far as rabbits, I'm thinking about calling OKC's herp society and see if they know anyone who sells rabbits for feeders. I'm sure I'm not the only one is the whole state who has an animal that's on rabbits lol.
Where are the breeders in Texas? The DFW area is only about 4hrs away. When I finally get my retic, I want to actually look, handle, and hand pick one if at all possible. With an animal that's going to be huge, I'd really like to get some first impressions and see a little something of their personalities.
I may also be willing to pick up feeders as far as DFW since I buy in bulk.

Re: Retic/Burm breeders near you
Not off the top of my head. Doubt anyone will openly admit it as well since, as you put it, they're illegal.

That would be me, and it most certainly does help! Thank you!
I'm still awaiting my permit. Actually, I'm still awaiting my FWC initial inspection.
Why does the waiting always seem worse when it's something you're REALLY excited about?

There's quite a few in California, just like everything else in CA, and the big problem is that it was probably the Super Show which attracts breeders from all around the region.
OK! In TX I would talk to these three guys, if they don't have what you're looking for they'll know who to talk to.
ATX Exotics in Austin
James Mitchell in Magnolia (NW of Houston)
Jason Reed in Palmer (SE of Dallas)
I don't know of anybody based in Utah unfortunately and couldn't find anybody that breeds located there.
