Escaped Boa in City Parking Lot

This is the real deal...

I was on patrol today, walking the beat, starting my shift at 9am in the morning. I walked past a city parking garage and some guy comes running up to me shouting "Officer! Help! I need your help!"

So I think "oh great, what now..." and go see what's up with this guy.

He calls me over to his car, and explains that his pet had escaped through the back window while he nipped out to grab coffee...

So I'm there thinking it's some little pet dog or something... and I ask the guy what his pet looks like. "A 9 foot boa constrictor" he says.

We spent the best part of 20 minutes looking for his BCC, which we found some distance away wrapped around the driveshaft underneath some guys Ford pickup.

We managed to safely get her out from underneath and put her back in the car.

What this guy was doing with a boa on his back seat is beyond me!? And (blow me down) I forgot to ask!

But he claimed that he left the back window open half way "for ventilation"...

Crazy start to a monday!!!!

Wish you were kidding. Can't believe that over 20mins of searching for the snake you forgot to ask WHY the snake was there in the back seat loose in his car .....Grr.....

Yeah, I know... total brainfart on my part.

Guess I was so pumped up about the whole thing, I was more concentrating on just finding it.

He may have been taking a trip to the vets or something. But still... loose in the backseat???!

It ended well? Ok did he leave with the snake loose in the back of the car? If so then it didn't end well.
