How old are you again? I've read the last thread you posted and was in disbelief that you wouldn't take advice from the people here, and opted to go and seek advice at a pet store that more than likely gave you some wrong information too. But don't get me wrong, I work at PetSmart and I'm a Pet Care Associate and I make sure that I know everything I need to know about every animal we carry. And because I plan to become a herp vet one day, that's also a plus. Everything I've learned about snakes I've learned here, and everyone here is extremely helpful and very nice. Just because you don't want to listen (or read) to people's advice doesn't mean you have to call them a "mofo" or a "wierdo." Good luck with your snake.

Re: cookie update
I agree that some of the people on this forum tend to respond provocatively fairly quickly, but that is not as rude as starting a provocative thread. At least they go out of their way to respond, are very informative, and have the reptiles (and thus the keepers) interest at heart. Unecessary.

Re: cookie update
A ball python baby straight out of the egg (newborn) can eat larger rats than pinkies. Go for hoppers or fuzzies. The rat should be roughly 10% of the snake's body weight, or about 1.5 times the girth of the snake (the thickest part of the body).

You gave in too quickly... and feeding live has it's consequences (harm to the snake, etc). To the OP, I recommend you keep up on trying to feed frozen/thawed. Be patient and you will succeed

Stop signing-in if you don't want to be here. That should help.

A little trick I learned was to get a f/t feeder and mix it in with mouse bedding that has been used and that'll drive the snakes crazy.

I'm pretty sure with your crap attitude and standoffish, childish, immature behavior you are gonna have a hard time getting people to help you out.
Like me.
You made The List.
Figure it out yourself.
