Re: black spot on my baby corn
Don't take my advice since I am just guessing but the 2 things I would guess would be either scale rot or just a Bruise.

Re: black spot on my baby corn
Its not scale rot I'm for sure and it could be a bruise but than again if it was a scale rot be more over his body not just that little spot so I don't know

Re: black spot on my baby corn
It honestly looks normal, like either an organ or you could be seeing some prey. Take a picture of the whole snake, and point to where the black spot is with your finger.
Edit: Does it look like the black is coming from inside the snake, or is it outside on the scale itself?

Re: black spot on my baby corn
I have no real idea of what it is. I just thought that I would take a wild guess.

Re: black spot on my baby corn
When you have light skinned snakes, you tend to be able to see a bit of its organs such as the heart, and you may be able to see its dinner, too. That's my opinion as to what this is.

Re: black spot on my baby corn
My female pewter basically has a transparent belly so you see a lot of darker colours from her organs and food. So it might be that. Doubt it's scale rot though.

Re: black spot on my baby corn
Is it just the scales are discoloured or do you believe something maybe inside the snake showing through? Its just looks like some sort of scale discolouration to me...
