Re: Anomander Light phase/Brood belly shots
Wow! That red tail is amazing!
Light phase? I feel like such a noob, but can you explain it as I've never heard of it on red tails. I've also had a couple of red tails before and never noticed such a huge difference in their color. The one I have now just had her 3rd shed with me and after this shed she was much lighter than normal, but it seems to have darkened up in the last week....

Re: Anomander Light phase/Brood belly shots
Some seem to get light in the night time and dark during the day, I thought it was only on certain morphs but it seems some can have it up to varying degrees. Anomander is always darker in the day and light in the night. To be honest I don't know what causes it :P I just know it happens.

The Guyana's I worked with changed colour, the Peruvian red tails didn't. The female peruvian does now though, but the male remains really dark always. Love snakes with light and dark phases though!

Re: Anomander Light phase/Brood belly shots
He look positively evil in his dark phase haha! I will try to get some shots.
Also Caylan your first post didn't show up until now which is why I didn't respond till now.
I never knew Guyana's did, I thought it was more Hogs and a few other light ones that did it, but I guess everyone does to some degree. I know I feel happier at night then in the day :P

Re: Anomander Light phase/Brood belly shots
Hehe Thanks for the pics Valvaren! I love his sides and his belly is nice and clean. I kind of really hope I find a rescue one of these I would love to own one. I just hope the wobble isn't horrible. On another note Anomander is smoking hot in his light phase. I can not wait until my Boa gets bigger...

What wobble? I was unaware of any boa breed having a wobble.

Lol. (Facepalm) I was wondering what kinda morph had such wicked side patterns. I totally missed that it was two different snakes.

Re: Anomander Light phase/Brood belly shots
Gungirl - I'm sure you will find one, if you lived closer you would be trying to pick out of quite a few =(. Also I'm not sure my boa is much bigger then yours, but perhaps I am remembering things wrong. I have a down payment on a Salmon jungle that I'm hoping to bring home soon, only 2 days younger then Anomander but on the next size up in food so I'm worried I might have not gave Anomander a bump soon enough =(.
Ladybug - Thanks! I just love him in his light phase, the change gets me everytime I just cannot get used to it.
Korbin - Haha, your silly.

Re: Anomander Light phase/Brood belly shots
He is 11 months and just got switched to hoppers which left him looking preggers :P He just took his third one and the bump isn't as big but still very noticeable, I'm really hoping for another shed soon.
