Cinder's awesome, I love yellow bloods! There are far too few of them... Yours has a nice high black tail too, wicked contrast!

Sorry Todd.I hate to admit it,but I saw him in a pet store and had to have him.
I asked on his origins and was told he came from a importer/exporter back east.
I phoned the company and was told that batch had been shipped in from a breeder in the US.

Well, I guess we'll have to make our own little batch of Yellows so we know their lineage from that point forward, lol.

Re: Profile:Cinder
Cinder is awesome! I have never seen such a gold animal! I know nothing about Bloods, but if I were to get one, it'd have to be just like her! For real she's a "Red" Blood?

Re: Profile:Cinder
I have one that maybe a Yellow keeps getting light all the time. Anyway i have a question what makes them Yellow? Can you breed two Yellows and get baby Yellows? I was under the understanding that it was a natural occurring morph that just happens.

As far as I know it's a natural morph, it just doesn't happen as often as red or orange adults.
It can be a real crap-shoot when you get a baby brong, but once you've see how a few progress from baby to adult, you start to get good at guessing what their adult colours will be. As soon as I saw Bubbles as a baby, I felt he'd mature into a yellow adult, which is why I jumped on 'm. So far he's not disappointing, and I'd say Cinder will follow the same path.
I doubt you'd get an entire clutch of baby yellows from breeding 2 yellows - I think you'd get a regular mix of babies with some perhaps being lighter, but those could easily mature into brown or reddish adults, so again, it's a pay your money and take your chances kinda deal.
Point us to the best image/video you have of the one you think might be a yellow and we'll let ya know what our guts say to us about it

I agree with Todd. Its a crap-shoot,but like he said after you have had a few you start to get a bit of idea what you are going to get by looking the babies over.
When I first saw Cinder I just knew he was going to be different..had to have him.
I think you would have a better chance of seeing yellows in a yellow x yellow pairing..then say a red to a yellow, but then again it could turn out to be the ole crap-shoot .
