heat bulb help

hello, I am building my beardie a cage and am building a thermostat with it for the bulb. I do not want to make a light go on and off so would I be able to use an infrared heat emitter with no bad effects?

Re: heat bulb help

You should be able to.

Now here is a plan that will save you money in the end.

Build your cage with double walls with a layer of styrafoam between the walls, it will consume a lot less energy with insulation.
