Corn snake keeps pooping!

Hi there, I have a 3 yr old corn snake that seems to be doing a strange amount of poo's. He, along with my other snakes have reently all been treated for mites, would that be connected? None of my other snakes are doing it? Seems to be mostly liquid?
Any comments/suggestions would be good
Thanks.

Not sure, something sounds off. I would recommend a vet visit, and take some of that poop with you for the vet to examine.

Re: Corn snake keeps pooping!

How in the heck did I ever let this slip my mind....

Does this occur when you pick up the snake??

If so, it's not even poop, it's MUSK, a defensive mechanism all colubrids have, they have special glands that discharge a foul stinky liquid to gross out predators.

This is perfectly normal, and it indicates that the snake is frightened.
