My snake do weird poop once in a while that look a bit like that but it's almost only fur. I've read somewhere that fur is really hard to digest. My bp do that more often cause they feed on gerbille and they has an even more thick fur that rats and mice. Could it be that?
I don't have any other idea. Tell us what you vat will say.

What's it supposed to look like??
Can anyone tell me what it's supposed to look like? I just looked at that pic and had no idea what I was supposed to be looking at. Alls I know is that my snake poops a little white thingy and a charcoal like black chunk....one time it REEEEKED, and the other time it didnt smell too bad.
What is wrong with that picture?
I will try to be more aware of what it looks like....but I don't even know what to look for. What is the white thingy?

Jeff,
I honestly don't see anything wrong with the faeces. The charastic look of your BCI's faeces can very greatly depending on multiple factors.
I find that most neonates defecate rather loosely. I assume it's because of their slightly more sensitive stomachs and smaller less consistent food items.
Be sure to let us all know how you make out with the vet.
Thanks,
Darren Hamill

Jeff,
I don't have much experience in the poop department, but it kind of looks like an undigested feeder....because of all the wrinkles. Whenever I've been in doubt, a trip to the vet has helped, even if its nothing, atleast you'll know for sure. Let us know how it goes.

Well the fecal results are back and they found no parasites or worms or anything so as Darren said its probably just the way it is... heh, she does drink ALOT, almost daily i see her sipping from her bowl, and she is very active... she did regurge a little while ago because of a really big meal and i handled her the next morning to clean and it made her regurge, her tummy could still be a little upset from that. Well we'll see how it goes, the vet though says that the fecal is normal.. yay!!

Glad to hear it Jeff.... every once and a while one of my Ball Pythons drops something that makes me wonder.. I think it may have something to do with the size of the meal and the amount of time they spent at what temp as to how well they digest their food .. if they are in the wet hide to much.. like when they are getting ready to shed it's not as warm and I think this affects their digestion...and you end up with a somewhat messy movement.. just a thought though...
