Re: incubator?

Well, I was going to point you to Mykee's info about building one, then saw your second paragraph. You don't have time . . .

How could your snake breed without you knowing it??

Re: incubator?

i just got the king snakes. and seperated the male from the females as the previous owner kept them all together.
i just didnt think she was big enough to breed.
i dont like making one because there is no way to control the heat exactly unless you buy a thermostat and place the probe in it and have a heat element over it or under it
i would prefer to buy one locally because its going to cost about the same as making one i would be happy with.

Re: incubator?

John; for one clutch, you might as well pick up a Hovabator. They're roughly $75 and should do the job. Keep an eye on the eggs though, they are notorious for drying them out. Good luck.

Re: incubator?

Well, all these pregnancies/eggs/future babies popping up around here are getting to be a lot of excitement!

Hope the incubators arrive quickly!

I hope the eggs are OK despite the stress of moving the female has been through.

Re: incubator?

if they arent then thats fine. king snakes will be hard to sell anyways. unless i sell them for 20 bucks each. just to cover costs of my incubator.
