Re: Fresh shed Bredli female

No LOL she was leaning up against it & posing so nice I figured I would take advantage of it. Opening it up would have her moving around & the "pose" would be lost LOL Mark

No LOL but I did have one of the big thick 8ft males I got with her try to eat me here a few weeks back. Coiled my hand/wrist & bit my arm pretty good. Glad Kyle was over when it happened as if it wasn't for him holding the head back with the hook I would have took multiple tags & bled a lot more. Took a few minutes & lots of opened mouthed strikes before we were able to get him off of my arm & back into an enclosure. He was all fine & then decided to squeeze the crap outta me & try to eat me. After the first bite he decided I was tasty because he became very persistent after that LOL Probably one of the closest times that I almost got tagged in the face. Not a lot of fun having an 8ft Python constricting your wrist striking out at all other flesh in the room. Like I said Kyle "saved" me from likely being tagged in the face/neck multiple times. But hey its cool to wear them around your neck as fashion accessories becasue crap like this never happens with big docile snakes right? It happens to the best of us kids so play safe! LOL Mark

Re: Fresh shed Bredli female

Haha...wow. Incredible. Good idea on having some over to keep you from being tagged in the face. Not a pretty sight. I once had an eight foot burm constrict my arm. It wasn't a docile snake, so I had control of it's head and was placing it back in it's enclosure at a friends place. Luckily my friend was there to help unwrap it, although at one point he was closer to helping the snake break my arm then getting it off.

Yah these snakes are soo trusting all the time. No matter what, accidents DON'T happen. TO ANYONE.

Re: Fresh shed Bredli female

Thanks for all the reminders to take care, guys! I especially need them as my baby BP grows, as it'll eventually be the biggest snake I'll ever have had that is handleable (not including the big rattler we kept for awhile!).
