I'm looking to buy a healthy and active aussie olive from someone but wanted to know if an 05 male being 4.5ft sounds typical? I've had the same boa for 5 years so I don't really know much about the growth rate of other species, thanks for any advice/opinions!
Hi there,
Hard to say what a typical growth for an olive python is (or any snake) without knowing what the conditions are. That said, some of the olives that we bred in 2007 are now over 4.5ft. The babies we have from this year are all in the 2.5-3ft range and are about 6 months old.
