I just bought a coastal carpet python and despite the rumors of them being nippy at first, he is very docile. i am able to take him out but ever so often he regergitates a little. is this not good?
As long as he has a good basking heat source they usually dont regurge anymore. some times the the home switch can prevoke this, espeacially in males. the nippyness is usually in very young specimens, but after 3-4 feet they calm right down. with exceptions.
cheers,
Mat
