new record??

This ocurred to me as i was reading the news. Something about an Anaconda caught in Brazil after eating a calf...
I can't recall data on the heaviest item eaten by a snake out of my head and i feel lazy to do a research on it, right now I DO remember that it was a Rock Python preying on an Impala...

But this 6 meter Anaconda (around 20') ate a 150 kilogram young cow, now that's a bit over 330 pounds. WOW! Maybe a new record, i don't know...

Guess what?? i did a little research anyways, just for the sake of it.
Hell, this NEW record (yes) beats the old one all the way. And i quote:

"The largest prey item on record was a 59Kg (130lb) impala, which was removed from
a 4.87m (16ft) African rock python (Python sabae). ..."

Not anymore...

They relocated the snake to another place in the jungle.
They forced the snake to regurg, though. THAT, i think, was unecessary.

I would think that a meal that large would have been regurged anyway in the relocation, but ya i would not have forced out unless it was shaped like a human.

even if it was a human i wouldnt want the media to find out about it. the snake would be killed and there would have been a lot more bad press against snakes in general. im very happy to hear that they didnt kill it, thats a real rarity in these cases.
