I have a reptile room with 16 enclosures and I have no problem with smell. I'd be a bit concerned, especially if it qualifies as a stench. What types of reptiles? What types of enclosures? Do you keep crickets in the room? Do you clean up poop right away? Give us some more details.....

Maybe the problem is poor ventilation ?

I keep between around 100-400 snakes depending on the time of season. Larger ones on Aspen shavings, average Colubrids & smaller 1's on blue shop towels (they are super absorbant). I clean everyday usually & don't find a problem with smell at all except prior cleaning on the "big poop days" after the weekly feedings & its not that bad. May want to consider bleaching out your tubs more often. I'll second that crickets REEK & that you may want to vent the room. Basically if everything is kept clean there shouldn't be an odor problem other than a cricket bin maybe. Mark
