Hi,

Before you made this purchase did you research these animals? If not I suggest you read some caresheets and books ASAP. What are you keeping the geckos on (their substrate?). How are you heating the tank. You should feed the geckos at least every other day either crickets, mealworms, superworms, silkworms, etc. Treats can include wax worms or butter worms.

Yes i did i decide to get them about a week before the show i was going to to get them. I read a book on Geckos and looked on about 15 different webpages to find out more things and opinions and i also post on here to find out more. I dont think i can learn enough about them. I also have a freind that owned some Geckos and i talked to him and his bro. about them. I feed them everyday. I give them pin heads every morning. And i also give them each a few meal worms but first i make sure they are dead so that they cant eat off of the sides of there belly. I also have tryed to feed them baby food and i am going to get some honey and dry crickets this weekend so that i keep them on a good amount of different food choices and items. I heat them with a floristant light and i keep my lights lights on 13 hrs a day. I make sure that there temp. in the cage is betweet at least 80 and 86. I have read in many books that they like those temps. do you suggust that??? And do you think that i am feeding them a good blanced diet??? Also in the bottom of the cage i keep them on a sand substance. I have a log as a hide spot and a bascing spot. I have a little water bowlish kinda thing and a food bowl. I also spray there cage on the sides so that they can lick the water of the sides cause i also have read in a lot of spots that they like to do i also keep it somewhat moist in there but not to bad because it has said that they like moist spots in some caresheets. Do you have any more suggests on how to keep my geckos heathy????

sounds great so far.. but I have a few suggestions. First bump up the temperature a tiny bit. Second of all get rid of the sand. The sand can cause impaction and lead to the death of your new pets. Use paper towel or tile/slate it looks nice.!
