Most monitors aren't difficult to breed once they are set up correctly. Getting them set up correctly is the tricky bit. There's a great book by Daniel Bennett and Ravi Thakoordyal called The Savannah Monitor Lizard: The Truth About Varanus exanthematicus. It's inexpensive, it's good, buy it.
Hi,
I bred them in cages smaller than that - so it should be no problem....just getting males/females together, good bug diet, and normal cycling....
good luck,
