1st clutch?
I have a few questions maybe you guys can help me out here.
This is my first year breeding JCP's and one of my females starting laying her eggs this afternoon. I confirmed two oval shaped eggs, there might be a few more under her.
1) How many eggs should I expect?
This is her first clutch, she's a little over 6ft long, healthy robust 4-1/2yr old female.
2) How long does the process take?
3) Should I remove the eggs, if so when? Is there an easy way of doing this without damaging the eggs?
4) I'm also contemplating allowing her to incubate her eggs, temps here in FL are now in the mid 80's. She laid the eggs in a rubber maid container that was in her cage above the hotspot that is kept at 89F.
Looking for any help?

Well, scratch that confirmed egg comment! Turns out it's something else. Anyone know what this is? She seems to have defecated a small amount as well beside it.
Close up shot, should I remove this or avoid disturbing her?
Here she is outside the box.

Should I expect more slugs or some eggs to follow?

I cannot tell you what to expect, but if the male was good you should be expecting some actual eggs and maybe a couple more slugs. However, sometimes people get unlucky and get a whole clutch of slugs! I have my fingers crossed for u
Hope all goes well for u, keep me informed
Thanks,
Ben
