Eunectes ssp. infos...

Hehey, i'm actually looking for info on the other 'conda subspecies... Eunectes deschauenseei, Eunectes barbouri, Eunectse Notaeus, Eunectes murinus, etc... I just realized that the genus eunectes was a little bigger than i would have expected it to be... I think it would be time to look around the genus just a little further!! Does anybody have a good eunectes info site? How come we've never heard of e.barbouri and e.deschauenseei?!?!?

deschauenseei are few and far between...

We keep 1.1 notaeus and they are great...female is just under 10', male is under 7', and proven breeders.

I have not heard of beniensis, but then I haven't done the research into the more obscure ssp.

Yes, there is a lot of good information on different species, but if you look up information on Anacondas, it's actually harder to find. Look up Anakonda instead. Here is a website that would help you out some: http://www.anakondas.de/
Yes, I have heard of Eunectes Beniensis, but seriously, almost every type of Anaconda except for Greens and Yellows are going to be almost impossible to find. It's even pretty hard to find a good Green or Yellow, harder to find a good Green.
There are A LOT of different kind of Anacondas and everything, but the reason why no one ever talks about them is the fact that no one owns them. I mean you can research them, which I'm sure everyone that has gotten a Green or Yellow has done to see what other kinds there are, but then you figure out that they are impossible to get, and there aren't any Captive Bred ones so you would have to have exported a litterally impossible to find Anaconda. So that's the reason no one ever really talks about it a lot, because there isn't a whole lot to say... I think the 3 most common are the Green, Yellow, and Blotched Anaconda, and the Blotched Anaconda is still litterally impossible to find! But good luck on your search! Most of the websites are going to be in German though, so you might need to find a translation website. Just remember to search for Anakonda and not just Anaconda.

Thanks Ben. I've already been on anacondas.de but my german just isnt good enough... It is actually pretty sad that no one owns them, blotched anacondas, i wonder what their latin name is... Ive found pics of beniensis and they look totally awesome!! I wonder what their status is in the wild... I know they are bolivian and thats pretty much it. No clue of the size they reach or any clues on the husbandry... I wonder why the big 'conda breeders dont keep anything but green and yellows...
