I keep mine on wheatgerm (same as my petstore) and I have some potato in there for them but they just keep dying. I am trying to get them producing to cut back on having to buy them. Why do they keep dying and is there any tricks to get them to produce??

Wheat germ and potatoe are fine for them, however you may find them more nutritious for your herps if you feed them a more varied diet. I prefer carrot to potatoe, but its prob not a big deal. They may be dying because they are not warm enough. They should be kept 80-90f, i keep them all at 90 becasue they seem to breed A LOT better. Good luck.
