Possible name change on the way

Due to work recently there is a chance that corns, and all North American rat snakes, are going to be renamed to Pantherophis Gutta due to their closer kinship to American colubrids than to the rat snakes of Europe and Asia which will keep the name Elaphe

It's been changed for a few years but the hobby hasn't caught on yet

No need to hide under the rock, unless you're looking for Pantherophis hiding there

I just thought I'd mention that it's the hobby that needs updating, the 'scientific community' is already up to date.
