Could you an aboreal cage for a say a jungle or jaguar or like an IJ? I figure a Coastal would be way to large for an aboreal cage. Or would it be better to do just a regular enclosure for any carpet python?
Yes, they are semi-arboreal snakes, so YES they can utilizt arboreal cages.
I don't see why you say a Coastal can't use an arboreal cage? Just make it bigger. Doesn't mean you can house a Coastal in a cage that is taller than it it wider or deeper (the definition of an arboreal cage).
A Jaguar IS a Coastal so they would be the same cage. I would use a 2x2x3 for an adult male Coastal and a 3x3x4 cage for an adult female Coastal. Those are VERY generous cage sizes though. They can certainly be done in less. WAY less.
