Pastel Leos?
Does anyone have any pics? I haven't seen a whole lot and I'm in the process of getting one ^_^ How 'designer' are they? I'm thinking around the same as high yellow. ^_^ Thanks for the input ^_^
Also, what's the difference between pastels and lavenders? Thanks ^_^

I think it's Super Hypo Carrot-Tail, not pastel.

Duran, I see where you're coming from but I'm sticking with Pastel. I would think she's not got enough orange to qualify as a Carrot - Tail

Heres a pic of my girl ZIA when she was younger, her parents are from Tarzets pastel stock (check out her site for her hypo pastels, i know she is selling off a bunch but there still should be a pic ), growing great!
I think market wise they can still be regarded for their spotting the same as a golden or hi- yellow, but the colouring its self seems to be appriciated by a more select audience. Not nearly as popular as the tangerine colour. Either way, the hypo, super hypo are still as prized as the golden hypos and SH.
Correct me if I am wrong, but arn't the lavenders pastels with wider bands of pigment (lavander)? Lemme check the trusty Leopard Gecko Manual...
"lavender= a gecko coloration where shades of purple predominate the body and tail with a cream or yellow background as adults. "
Thought so, pastel is the same as lavender!
Congrats on your addition, post some pics!

Very nice leo there! As Topaz said, lavenders and pastels are the same. Some are muted over all, and some are "golden" with lavender highlights. Here's a pic of one I just sold in the classifieds. He's quite gold, but has beautiful lavender highlights. To me he's not the "best" example as there are many predominantly paler ones out there, but he's still lavender

I have many beautiful Pastels pictured on my site www.tarzet.net I have been working with them for years out of my own stock....most of which are now on my available now page!
I liked them because as adults they look kind of Ghostly. I added "Baldies" to the mix and have produced some beautiful solid pale yellow SHB's
I call them Pastels, because that is what they look like to me. I would want to see the color Lavender on the animals to want to call it a Lavender.....just makes more sence to me...
Topaz... Thanks for mentioning me I would love to see an updated picture of your gecko.
DuRaN... Your Gecko is a Beautiful Super Hypo. I like the circle on its back Almost all Leos have a small degree of orange on thier tail. Yours does not have enough for it to be a Carrot Tail.

My pastels
#1-
#2 vegas pastel. Bad pic, she is VERY pastel and light in person, my prettiest gecko in my opinion. Posted small pic on purpose, resolution on large pic is aweful! Just can not get a decent pic of her for some reason!
