Axanthic scale ??'s

I was holding my Axanthic Florida King yesterday and noticed some of her scales had white tipping on them. After looking closer, I also noticed these same scale tips look transparent. On some of them you can see the scale beneath it. Has anyone seen this type of thing on any of their snakes, or have any ideas about them? Here's a pic with the scales circled to show what I mean. On the lower scales in the left circle you can see part of the overlap of scales with part of the underlying scales.

She just shed 2 weeks ago, and doesn't look like she's in shed again. Is this part of the axanthic trait?
