I have a five month old coastal carpet, she has been eating 2 pinkies each sitting, and looks healthy, and she is growing, should I increas her number of pinkies or just move up to fuzzies?
I am new at this, so any advice is appreciated. Will post some pics first chance I get.
Should I feed live hoppers or frozen?
Are hoppers to big, my snake has the length, but she is still only as skinny as my little finger? I am a novice as you can tell, so any help is greatly appreciated.
My carpet python is about as thick as my ring finger (she is almost 20 inches long) but she can eat a large hopper or small mouse. She can eat about twice the size of her body pretty easy.
moses, up her to 1 hopper for the first 1 or 2 meal. If she is ok on 1 then try her on 2... You will see a big change in her growth if you bump her up to hoppers.. they have ALOT more nutrition and she will fill out nicely

I always feed frozen thawed if the snake will take them.
