Thumbs up Green is mean on food...lol

EVERYONE:

Yeah I know the cages aren' t super clean

But they get cleaned after the meal is taken

Just a few shots of the chondros eating for jumbo mice.
Next feeding is small rats again had to get rid of some mice first.

Thanks for viewing.

I would like to get a GTP someday soon.

What are the major differences between them and ETB. keeping, size, health, etc

Nice snake

BRANDON:

Thanks, The 3rd pic was sold to me as an Aru - male, possibly a WC but sold as a CB, great feeder, typical attitude, lightning fast feeding response, never misses a meal - thank god or my hand would know it

He has 2 girls to try this coming season, they are in shed when I took these pictures. So maybe next time they will be seen.

Thanks.

Major difference would be GTP are pythons and egg layers and ETB are live bearers and give birth.

Over all care is pretty much the same for both, in my collection the GTPs are the ones I watch out for because most have there typical attitude. The ETBs are more calm - chilled out so to speak. Even feeding response is different most of the ETBs you present the food and in 1 minute or less they sneak into the food with a decent strike. The GTPs are a total new game bring the food expect they see you coming

The head structure is also very different between both species as well.

Emerald Tree Boa.

EVERYONE:

Just noticed in picture 2, the mouse butt, looks like a face, lol

Tony,

IMHO, that "aru" looks more like a merauke locale than aru. It could be a mix of the two locale types, but the stripe is definately a merauke trait. I don't think I've ever seen an aru with a strip like that. Very nice animal any way you look at it.

I love the eating while hanging from the branch. My Jungle Carpet always does that too.

EVERYONE:

Thank you.

BRANDON:

I think he can be a Merauke as well, but sold to me as an Aru, it was the striping that got me interested and I bought him up fast.
