Tennessee’s a long ways off but be sure to keep us Canucks updated. I remember the days when folks ate stuff for free.

I've heard that there is going to be an all new reality show starting soon....

It's fear-factor and queer eye for the staight guy combined......

Apparently they tell you what wine to drink with goats eyeballs.

Well I don't recall that far back, foraging for grubs was long before I was born (atleast around here). But it was usually only a small bet or dare of some sort.

When I was like 8 my friends and I got another 'friend' to eat half of a dried up old slug. She did and then barfed.

Week one kicked off 12/9/04 with a total of 18 contestants and a packed house of onlookers. Nine contestants were qualified through 105.5, nine through 98.1 and nine selected from the audience. Three of the 18 bowed to fear before even stepping on the stage forcing us to go into the audience for last minute replacements.

For the qualifying rounds, contestants had two minutes in which they were to catch and eat as many LIVE fish as possible. Round one ended in a tie, advancing two contestants to the final round. Round two brought in crowd favorite Lauren, a six foot Xena type who posted the best fishing eating time of the night. Round three brought forth our last minute fill ins, of which George Striker was one. Striker had watched round one and two and developed a strategy. After the contest began, he poured most of his water over into his puke bucket, thus making his fish much easier to catch. The plan worked, and a replacement moved on to the finals.

For the final round, fish would be eaten again, but with a twist. The live fish were mixed into a concoction containing meat, eggs, corn, peas, and whatever other disgusting thing we could find, oh, and one other secret ingredient....live maggots. The mixture was then served on a plate and the contestants raced to see who could finish it first. Less then one second separated first and second place, with George Striker coming out on top and qualifying for the $5000 grand price finals.

Round two will take place Thursday 12/16/04 at the O'Aces Grill 7020 Shallowford Rd, at the intersection of I75 & Shallowford Rd near Hamilton Place. I assure, there will be no fish this week, contestants will earn the money!!!
