Question Boa morphs

I was thinking about sinking some $ into a pair of boas, and was thinking about morphs. I don't know much about the morphs yet, so I figured I would turn here.

I also haven't set an amount, as I am looking to buy babies, one at a time, so I can look around and find what I would really like.

So, any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Any ideas on what? On what the prices are? Well there's MANY different morphs with many different prices, so which one do you want to know about?

Or are you asking which one to "look around and find what I would really like"? If that's the case, that one is most certainly impossible to answer.

If you want to invest, I'd do one of three things (if you're starting small).

1) I would buy a pair of het albinos and raise them up to breed.

or

2) I would buy a couple REAL nice and clean female Colombians and then get a Salmon or Super Salmon in a couple years.

or

3) I would buy a pair of Salmons.

Salmons are a great way to start, especially if you get a super clean salmon male and a few of the nicest normal females you can find. Select the normal females for high pink, and you'll end up with killer salmons. That's the great thing about salmon boas - it's co-dominant, so all you need is one male, and he can stud several litters of salmons.

If you're looking to spend a pretty penny, get a salmon and an albino. This could run you as high as $2500, but then you'll have Salmons het albino (in other words, DH Sunglow), and normals het for albino. You'd make your money back in one breeding for sure.

Thank you, yes I should have been clear that I was looking for ideas on morphs, what is out there, and what would be a good investment.

I like the idea of eventually breeding sunglows, thanks for that tip Invictus

Any ideas on what sunglows go for? I haven't seen many, actually one (pic), and don't know any sights with prices

Anyways, thanks again, I appreciate the input!
